Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead technical design sessions and document architectures aligned with client objectives.
  • Provide technical oversight and governance for Salesforce projects.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, lead code reviews, and promote appropriate design patterns.
  • Oversee custom development, integrations, and data migration for Salesforce implementations.
  • Debug project issues through detailed technical analysis.
  • Participate in presales discovery, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development when needed.
  • Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
  • Maintain target billable utilization and travel to client sites approximately 50–75% of the time.

Requirements

  • Strong CRM experience and a solid Salesforce platform background.
  • Senior leadership expertise and expert-level knowledge of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
  • Ability to design scalable, performance-driven systems and apply architecture patterns and large-data-volume best practices.
  • Understanding of data sharing, visibility, platform architecture, and authentication patterns including SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
  • Experience with data integration tools and integrating Salesforce with business systems such as ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, and reporting systems.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform security capabilities including TLS and SSL.
  • Expertise defining system architecture landscapes, identifying current-to-target-state gaps, and delivering solutions aligned with business outcomes.
  • Strong background designing and developing large web-based systems or experience across a complete software product lifecycle.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications after hire.
  • Relevant leadership, military, volunteer, or extracurricular experience may be considered when evaluating core competencies.
