Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack features for campaign management, reporting, marketplace optimization, dashboards, audience tooling, and asset tooling.
- Develop responsive web frontends, scalable backend services, APIs, data models, and optimization systems.
- Integrate Digital Turbine products into a unified architecture through well-designed APIs.
- Own services in production, including testing, observability, performance, and on-call responsibilities.
- Contribute to scoping, estimation, technical decisions, code reviews, automation, and architecture within an autonomous product pod.
- Mentor teammates and help raise engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of building and shipping production platforms, with substantial experience in backend architecture, system design, and code optimization.
- Strong algorithmic fundamentals, data structures, and experience solving complex data-processing or resource-optimization problems.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple languages or ecosystems, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, Scala, or C++.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and backend service design.
- Experience with relational and/or distributed data stores such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, testing, and system design.
- Experience working effectively in fast-paced, ownership-driven environments with limited hand-holding.
- Preferred experience with AWS or GCP, containers, and CI/CD.
- Preferred exposure to AdTech, dashboards or BI surfaces, high-throughput data-driven products, or integrating ML and data services into product workflows.
