Base Salary
$113k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and maintain the in-house SOAR platform by developing automation playbooks and accelerating incident response.
- Drive the adoption of AI tools within the Security team and protect AI technologies.
- Manage and optimize the SIEM environment, ensuring log source coverage meets security requirements.
- Support endpoint security tooling by deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting EDR solutions.
- Review IT infrastructure changes for security implications and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Partner with IT and infrastructure teams to onboard new log sources and improve telemetry.
- Contribute to incident response processes, including containment, eradication, and post-incident review.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or detection engineering.
- Experience securing AI/ML workloads or applying AI-assisted tooling to security operations.
- Hands-on experience administering a SIEM platform such as Sentinel, Splunk, or Elastic.
- Hands-on experience with a SOAR platform like Cortex XSOAR or Splunk SOAR.
- Solid understanding of endpoint security concepts including EDR and OS-level telemetry.
- Understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience managing cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably in Python.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and managing infrastructure as code.
