Responsibilities

  • Support strategic customer conversations with technical and engineering leaders.
  • Deliver insights on emerging trends and industry best practices.
  • Prepare executive-level messaging and participate in strategic discussions.
  • Lead technical Q&A sessions to uncover customer business requirements.
  • Deliver interactive presentations and custom product demonstrations.
  • Whiteboard solution architecture to support business requirements.
  • Design and execute outcome-focused proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Maintain a deep technical understanding of Okta's product lines.
  • Craft engaging solution content for various business units.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Solutions Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with the Global Office of Field CTO to validate customer needs.
  • Deliver keynote presentations and technical sessions at events.
  • Contribute to frameworks and tools for Solutions Engineering teams.
  • Partner with sales leadership to address business opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration for global initiatives.
  • Represent Okta as a thought leader in the identity space.
  • Influence industry standards and participate in advisory boards.
  • Support strategic initiatives that enhance Okta’s differentiation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a presales or customer-facing role.
  • At least 3 years of experience with CIAM projects.
  • 8+ years of development experience focused on application integration.
  • Experience with REST APIs and SDKs.
  • Familiarity with customer identity and access management solutions.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Experience contributing to technical events.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer meetings and events.
