Base Salary
$114k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a core library of production-ready skills for humanoid robots.
- Script new skills using behavior trees, state machines, or task planners.
- Deploy robotics paradigms to implement robot skills for various tasks.
- Build and maintain workflows using the robot’s skill API.
- Prototype new skills and customer use cases to assess feasibility.
- Develop components for human-in-the-loop interventions.
- Build data collection pipelines to analyze task errors.
- Create infrastructure to minimize human intervention frequency.
- Define production-ready criteria and design test plans.
- Recreate corner cases from logs into repeatable tests.
- Validate new skills and workflows in simulation and on hardware.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment and validation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in robotics, preferably with mobile manipulation robots.
- B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficient in Python and capable of writing clean code.
- Experience with Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience developing physical robot behaviors.
- Curiosity about autonomous robots from low-level control to high-level task planning.
- Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
