Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated feedback pipelines linking operational outcomes to AI model predictions and agent actions.
- Develop evaluation frameworks for model precision, recall, drift, threshold alerts, and model tuning.
- Build data pipelines connecting AI outputs to incident lifecycles and business-impact metrics such as notification success rates and Mean Time to Mitigation.
- Design and deploy scalable APIs, metrics layers, and single-pane model health dashboards.
- Capture structured end-user feedback to support continuous model improvement.
- Partner with SRE, product, platform engineering, and operational teams to reduce alert noise and improve visibility.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of applicable backend and data pipeline engineering experience, including scalable API and metrics-platform development.
- Experience with data platform engineering and distributed processing using tools such as PySpark, SQL, Pandas, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Understanding of model evaluation concepts including precision, recall, model drift, and ground-truth labeling.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Docker, and cloud-native deployments using AWS/EKS.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with observability, telemetry, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or Conviva.
- Preferred familiarity with agentic workflows, foundation models such as GPT-4 or Claude, incident management workflows, SRE metrics, and high-scale attribution or metrics tooling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
- Full-time position based in New York, NY.
- Base compensation is offered within a stated hiring range of $124,900.00 to $167,400.00 per year, with potential bonus and/or long-term incentive units.
