Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and operate intelligent production systems using real-time signals and AI-driven detection to improve streaming platform and service health.
- Build agentic AI systems using foundation models, predictive models, and anomaly detection for real-time reliability insights.
- Develop end-to-end pipelines that transform telemetry, logs, and user signals into automated detection, root-cause analysis, and actionable insights.
- Create and deploy scalable APIs and services that provide predictive signals, explainability, and operational insights.
- Build infrastructure visibility and compliance enforcement systems that aggregate resource data and prevent non-compliant deployments.
- Embed AI-driven intelligence into incident response, release validation, and customer insight workflows.
- Contribute to observability, reliability, and developer productivity innovation while delivering features end-to-end and owning production components.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of applicable backend development experience, including AI-powered or data-driven applications and scalable APIs.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture for measuring and evaluating infrastructure reliability and compliance.
- Practical AI/ML engineering experience in agentic workflows or traditional machine learning.
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, or with PyTorch or TensorFlow, depending on the AI/ML focus.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Experience with GitHub, Docker, and cloud-native deployments using AWS/EKS.
- Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and standard software development workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, rapid-iteration, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with Datadog, Grafana, Conviva, high-volume telemetry, PySpark, Pandas, Databricks, Snowflake, prompt design, model evaluation, or foundation-model fine-tuning.
- Preferred: experience implementing production-grade systems at scale in distributed environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- Full-time position based in New York, NY, with a stated annual base-pay hiring range of $124,900.00 to $167,400.00.
- Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be included in the compensation package.
