Responsibilities
- Drive AI-forward architecture and self-managing codebases through agentic evaluation-driven development, skills, and context integration.
- Collaborate with technical leads across Ads, Core, and Google DeepMind to influence roadmaps and technical direction.
- Lead architectural design for next-generation agentic platforms supporting large-scale advertising systems.
- Develop the technical strategy for integrating large language models into real-time ad selection systems.
- Design highly scalable orchestration frameworks for autonomous agent workflows in production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of professional engineering experience.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Preferred: technical leadership across a larger organization, including motivating people at all levels.
- Preferred: technical innovation experience in large, complex, cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred: knowledge of Google Ads products, their ecosystems, competitors, and competitor products.
- Preferred: ability to balance detailed technical guidance with broad strategy.

- US base pay is $307000 - $427000 plus a 30% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
