Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and create Eggplant automation test scripts in collaboration with clients, work streams, teams, and Oracle Health.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test strategies, assets, schedules, frameworks, and architectures.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts for application products.
  • Understand project architecture, test environments, and test data requirements.
  • Conduct positive, negative, validation, and regression testing.
  • Analyze requirements, identify and disposition defects, and communicate defects to stakeholders.
  • Write detailed test plans, test cases, status reports, test execution reports, and test analysis reports.
  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures for health information technology systems.
  • Provide testing subject-matter expertise for complex clinical software and hardware applications.
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with VA EHRM customers, VA project teams, teammates, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience with clinical software testing and leading test efforts.
  • 3–4 years of experience as a test automation engineer using test management tools and automation frameworks, specifically Eggplant.
  • Broad and comprehensive experience across the software testing lifecycle, including detailed test plans, test cases, test reports, status communication, and defect presentation.
  • Knowledge of the Oracle Health Millennium healthcare domain and clinical workflows, policies, procedures, and patient-care business processes.
  • Experience with Eggplant, Microsoft Office applications, Oracle Health Millennium, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a thorough government background screening, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.
  • Experience with VA electronic health records, clinical settings and workflows, VA healthcare software applications, and healthcare application business processes is preferred.
  • Experience with OpenText Application Lifecycle Management, OpenText Unified Functional Testing, and risk-based testing methodologies is preferred.
