Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
- Develop and deliver large-scale applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, and RESTful web services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Advance robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Apply secure coding, unit testing, risk management, and control practices.
- Lead or guide complex assignments, collaborate across functions, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with Core Java and J2EE design and development for large-scale applications.
- Experience with Spring Framework, including Core, Boot, MVC, AOP, and Security.
- Experience with Spring Boot microservices architecture, auto-configuration, and starters.
- Experience developing, designing, and documenting RESTful web services using RAML or OpenAPI.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming, data modeling, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of Angular, React JS, React Native, and micro-frontend architecture is highly valued.
- Knowledge of automated testing, continuous integration and deployment tools and practices is valued.
- Knowledge of mobile app engineering is valued.
- Ability to manage risk and controls, support change and transformation, and demonstrate business acumen and strategic thinking.
