Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack solutions with Python back ends and React front ends.
- Architect synchronous APIs, event queues, webhook pipelines, and scheduled batch processes.
- Build and maintain production FastAPI services with clear contracts, versioning, and observability.
- Implement multi-step automation workflows across document management, CRM, HR, finance, and media platforms.
- Integrate internal data sources, third-party APIs, and Azure or GCP cloud services.
- Build evaluation and testing frameworks for measurable, auditable, and improvable automated workflows.
- Define and implement governance standards including access control, audit logging, safe defaults, and compliance guardrails.
- Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, API specifications, and technical decision records.
- Translate business requirements into pragmatic technical designs and communicate engineering trade-offs.
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews to other automation delivery teams.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of professional software engineering experience with Python as the primary back-end language.
- Strong React and TypeScript front-end skills with the ability to own complete vertical solutions.
- Experience with FastAPI or an equivalent Python API framework.
- Experience designing and operating event-driven or pipeline architectures involving queues, schedulers, webhooks, or streaming.
- Experience with Azure and/or GCP managed services for compute, storage, and messaging.
- Experience integrating enterprise identity, directory, and SaaS APIs; Microsoft 365 experience is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience building search or retrieval-augmented systems using embedding pipelines, vector databases, or semantic indexing.
- Understanding of evaluation and testing practices for complex, non-deterministic systems.
- Familiarity with Kanban or Scrum, backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and incremental delivery.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate certification (AI-102) required within the first 30 days.
- GitHub Copilot certification (GH-300) desirable or required within three months.
- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certification (PL-900) desirable or required within three months.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, RBAC, audit trails, or policy-as-code is advantageous.
