Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code for cloud systems.
- Build and provision solutions that improve cloud operations and support engineering and QA teams.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Configure and maintain highly available AWS systems, including multi-region or multi-tenant environments.
- Build and maintain observability, monitoring, and logging systems and standards.
- Support software engineers and guide teams on infrastructure, deployment, and reliability best practices.
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain a strong security posture.
- Develop tools and services that reduce operational dependencies on the DevOps team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
- Strong AWS experience, particularly with multi-region or multi-tenant environments.
- Software development background and understanding of modern engineering practices.
- Experience managing infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Experience with containerized environments and application modernization.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.
- Experience with databases, enterprise systems, or eCommerce platforms.
- Proficiency administering Linux/Unix systems.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development practices.
- Ability to use AI tools effectively while protecting proprietary data and auditing AI-generated results for accuracy and compliance.
