Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive engineers, cross-functional peers, and leadership to define the roadmap and technical deliverables for agentic Metabolic Health experiences.
- Scope, estimate, and architect features and agentic workflows for nutrition, weight, metabolic health, GLP-1, and chronic disease management in the Google Health app.
- Design infrastructure to accelerate hill-climbing and evaluations and develop clinical-grade AutoRaters.
- Mentor and lead software engineers while improving and safeguarding team quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with agentic development.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: experience launching and iterating on agentic features on a consumer product.
- Preferred: familiarity with data analysis and research techniques and interest in the health space.
