Base Salary
$196k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build core workflows and product experiences for compensation planning, execution, and communication.
- Lead projects and develop features used by compensation teams, managers, and employees.
- Work closely with Product and Design to ship customer-facing functionality.
- Use direct customer feedback to iterate on product features.
- Own work end-to-end from technical decisions through delivery.
- Influence team design decisions and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering experience.
- Experience with modern web technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience building data-intensive applications.
- Strong product intuition and the ability to translate customer needs into technical decisions.
- Ability to break ambiguous problems into milestones and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
- Technical leadership experience, including influencing design decisions and mentoring engineers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and delivering thoughtful solutions without overengineering.
- Experience at a B2B SaaS company, particularly during rapid growth or platform expansion, is preferred.
