Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using .NET and C#.
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure backend solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, data modeling, and API design.
- Optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to improve performance and reliability.
- Maintain documentation for backend processes, API specifications, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years with the .NET ecosystem.
- Require proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, and SQL Server, including database design and query optimization.
- Require hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.
- Require experience designing and developing APIs and understanding microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Require experience with Git, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
- Preferred experience includes Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, and Azure Cache.
- Preferred knowledge includes cloud security practices, secure application development, and Agile/Scrum environments.
