Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product experiences across backend services, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces.
- Develop, scale, and maintain containerized microservices, orchestration pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
- Improve observability across systems and infrastructure at scale.
- Partner with clinical experts and engineers to build scalable systems that surface actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues from alerts through root-cause analysis and prevention.
- Apply first-principles thinking, challenge inefficient designs, and ship durable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building high-quality code and infrastructure.
- At least 3 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, including microservices, event-driven architecture, or pipeline orchestration.
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience building backend services with Python, Node, or similar technologies and frontend interfaces with React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Familiarity with containerization, cloud-native deployment patterns, and scalable architectural patterns.
- Strong debugging and production incident-resolution skills across multiple services.
- Curiosity about generative AI advances and thoughtful judgment about AI tools.
- Preferred experience in healthcare, clinical data, value-based care, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Firestore, BigQuery, or other GCP data services.
