Responsibilities
- Define architecture and technology choices across Unity and Unreal projects.
- Develop complex features and essential systems using C++ and C#.
- Own coding standards, code reviews, build and release pipelines, and technical quality.
- Evaluate new engine features, technologies, and AI capabilities.
- Mentor developers through architecture guidance, code reviews, pairing, and technical discussions.
- Work with international studios to identify workflow problems, define technical scopes and estimates, and manage risks.
- Collaborate with game programmers, technical artists, producers, and Gametech Innovation developers across multiple studios.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine and/or Unity, including editors and extensions.
- Solid proficiency in C++ and C#.
- Experience building and launching tools or systems relied on by other teams.
- Advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization experience across complex systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and self-explanatory code.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, build infrastructure, and version control at scale.
- Practical experience using AI in software development workflows and integrating AI services into tools.
- Ability to communicate technical reasoning clearly in English to technical and non-technical audiences.
