Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and manage cloud applications on SAP BTP across platform administration, solution design, frontend, and backend development.
- Develop Node.js backend services and APIs with CRUD operations, business logic, validations, and frontend integration.
- Build responsive SAPUI5 interfaces using XML views, controllers, and MVC patterns.
- Design database artifacts and data models and connect applications to SAP HANA persistence.
- Configure BTP subaccounts, service instances, roles, connectivity artifacts, and destinations for external integrations.
- Package and deploy applications using multi-target application deployment artifacts.
- Implement agentic and LLM-integrated features, including tool calling, orchestration, memory/state handling, safe action boundaries, and retrieval-grounded experiences.
- Create offline and online evaluation loops to measure AI behavior and detect regressions.
- Use Git-based workflows and debug backend, database, and service-exposure issues during full-stack delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Required experience with SAP BTP application development.
- Full-stack implementation experience spanning backend services, APIs, data models, and UI integration.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP platform architecture, administration basics, solution design, and frontend/backend development.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, testing, CI/CD orientation, and production hardening.
- Experience or familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio and BTP application-development patterns is beneficial.
- Familiarity with BTP application-development learning paths, training, or bootcamp-style enablement is beneficial.
- Awareness of SAP BTP platform building blocks and development guidelines is beneficial.
