Responsibilities
- Lead and support a product team as a hands-on Tech Lead.
- Structure project work, review code, select design patterns, and support developers in delivering high-quality user stories.
- Develop cloud-native software in AWS using TypeScript.
- Design and develop frontend applications with React, Next.js, and Tailwind-based frameworks.
- Implement Node.js/TypeScript backend services for ETL, ML workflows, and risk insights.
- Architect and maintain REST APIs with OAuth/OIDC and HMAC authentication.
- Implement security and compliance controls, including IAM/CIAM policies, TLS/KMS encryption, and audit logging.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and participate in architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, Scrum Master, and Product Owner stakeholders in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and maintain transparent communication.
- Implement and manage QPE.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of React, Next.js, Flowbite/Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST API design.
- Hands-on experience with the listed AWS services, including Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, IAM, Secrets Manager, VPC Endpoints, PrivateLink, and Step Functions.
- Strong experience with REST, gRPC, OAuth/OIDC, EventBridge, SQS, webhooks, and integrations with OEM and insurer systems.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, CDK for Terraform, environment configuration, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Solid understanding of IAM/CIAM, Entra, TLS/KMS, WAF, and Cognito Multi-Tenancy.
- Proven experience conducting and leading architecture reviews.
- Excellent spoken and written English; German language skills are a plus.
