Base Salary

$230k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Re-architect and maintain the Kubernetes fleet and its supporting infrastructure
  • Improve and expand continuous delivery of the product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware and cloud to build platform capabilities
  • Work with security to improve practices and controls protecting customer data and drones
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives as the product scales
  • Make software changes to the core product to support required use cases

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a platform engineer, DevOps engineer, or in an equivalent infrastructure role
  • Ability to debug and automate Kubernetes clusters
  • Willingness to work directly in code, preferably using Python or Go
  • Prior experience implementing continuous deployment systems
  • Understanding of cloud platform architecture, including networking, security, storage, and resilient application topologies
  • Ability and interest in independently pursuing solutions to delegated business objectives
  • Familiarity with supporting both SaaS and self-hosted applications is a bonus
  • Experience supporting drones or highly automated physical hardware is a bonus
