Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Kubernetes control-plane services, operators, and custom controllers.
- Develop automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident-response systems.
- Create internal workflows, tools, APIs, and command-line interfaces for deploying and monitoring inference services.
- Design resilient systems for large-scale distributed environments and investigate low-level cluster issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations, resolve incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar Software Engineering, DevOps, or SRE role.
- Strong coding proficiency, ideally in Golang, and knowledge of software development best practices.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with reliability issues, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and on-call rotations.
- Experience working with reliability KPIs, observability, alerting, and SLAs.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
- Preferred experience with HPC systems, Slurm, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
- Ability to own and deliver end-to-end features with minimal oversight and collaborate effectively.
