Responsibilities
- Build and operate a developer-centric Platform-as-a-Service with automation, reusable components, and self-service capabilities.
- Implement and maintain performant, scalable, and highly available platform components.
- Deploy, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud resources, with Azure preferred, and participate in incident response.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment and operations pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, capacity planning, performance tuning, and reliability practices.
- Apply identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability management, security, and compliance controls.
- Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments and collaborate with application, architecture, security, and product teams.
- Onboard services, improve developer experience, and provide technical guidance to internal platform users.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-based platforms or services.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and microservices architectures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools is preferred.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor is preferred.
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments and understanding of cost optimization and FinOps practices are preferred.
