Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and support complex batch-processing solutions using Spring Batch.
- Create and optimize ETL-like workflows for high-volume data processing.
- Design batch jobs, scheduling mechanisms, and fault-tolerant processing frameworks.
- Integrate applications with databases, external APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application efficiency.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Create technical documentation and follow coding best practices.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 8, Java 11, or Java 17.
- Solid experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Batch job configuration, chunk processing, item readers, processors, writers, scheduling, partitioning, parallel processing, monitoring, error handling, restartability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience handling high-volume batch processing.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
