Responsibilities
- Deliver new frontend features and bug fixes with emphasis on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Design and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces and application state across platforms.
- Maintain modular, maintainable code through coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Test, debug, and optimize complex frontend applications, including rendering and memory performance.
- Collaborate effectively within a remote, globally distributed team.
Requirements
- Proven production experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-scale applications.
- Strong competency with state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar tools.
- Ability to write modular, maintainable, well-tested code and debug complex frontend applications.
- Deep interest or experience with peer-to-peer technologies or distributed systems.
- Good communication skills and comfort working remotely with a globally distributed team.
- Preferred: experience with Electron, Tauri, or similar desktop runtimes; WebRTC, media streams, or real-time communication; cross-platform applications; and UI performance optimization.
- Bonus: open-source contributions, especially in peer-to-peer or decentralized technology.
