Responsibilities
- Own and directly implement end-to-end technical architecture for CS&D platforms, including containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration layers.
- Drive portfolio-wide evaluation, roadmap development, and production adoption of agentic AI and multi-agent architecture.
- Embed security, audit readiness, change control, GxP/GCP compliance, and CSV readiness into platform architecture and documentation.
- Evaluate emerging cloud, data, and AI technologies, run staged proofs of concept, modernize platforms, and reduce technical debt.
- Translate business goals and value streams into technical solutions in partnership with product managers and business stakeholders.
- Make platform-scoped architecture and integration decisions and represent CS&D Tech in architecture and governance forums.
- Conduct code reviews, provide hands-on technical guidance, mentor engineers, and contribute to hiring and technical talent planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture or senior technical leadership, including direct and ongoing coding or build involvement.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying agentic or AI architecture, evaluating build-versus-buy decisions, and implementing AI/ML technology stacks in production programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript with full-stack experience using React and Node.js.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, search engines, AWS ETL services, event-driven architecture, Spark, and PySpark.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Glue, Data Pipeline, Redshift Spectrum, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS SNS/SQS.
- Ability to design, build, and unit test Spark applications in Python for batch and streaming workloads.
- Experience working in regulated GxP/GCP environments, including computer system validation and inspection readiness.
- Experience with clinical trial data and its use in supply chain or trial execution contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and lead architectural discussions without a formal people-manager structure.
- Experience representing India-based technical teams in global architecture or governance forums and leading platform or data migration initiatives.
