Responsibilities
- Independently deliver Java-based backend features and database integrations.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Develop and optimize relational database schemas, queries, transactions, procedures, triggers, and performance.
- Write Java server test cases and apply automated testing practices.
- Participate in system design discussions and improve scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Review code, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers when needed.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Use version control and delivery practices to support high-quality releases.
- Identify opportunities to apply cloud-native development and AI-driven engineering practices.
Requirements
- BE, B Tech, ME, M Tech, MCS, or MCA in Computer Science or Supply Chain.
- 4–6 years of professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Java and strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with relational databases and object-relational frameworks, preferably Oracle.
- Ability to write SQL queries, procedures, and triggers and perform performance tuning.
- Functional knowledge of supply chain management, preferably supply chain planning or forecasting.
- Prior development or consulting experience with an enterprise software vendor.
- Experience with SOAP, REST, and EDI is a plus.
- Ability to build web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; ReactJS experience is preferred.
- Systems implementation skills covering requirements and process analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and support.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, and containerization is a plus.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, AI/ML concepts, and intelligent automation.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and communication skills.
