Responsibilities
- Design and develop NICE CXone products and features across all technology tiers.
- Work as an individual contributor on complex reporting-based projects.
- Interpret business requirements and collaborate with technical teams and designers.
- Participate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Perform unit, system, and integration testing, including writing tests with JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve defects found during QA, and support the production environment.
- Build AI-powered solutions involving LLMs, agents, and automation.
- Use agent-based development workflows to write code, run tests, open pull requests, update tickets, and manage related work.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and make practical trade-offs between code quality and delivery speed.
- Collaborate with developers in a global, complex matrix environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Java developer in web and server-side development.
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Expertise with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services standards, JSON, and REST.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-tier web application development.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
- Experience with Agile frameworks and DevOps tools.
- Experience with unit- and system-level test automation.
- Experience writing integration tests with the Cucumber framework.
- Strong performance-tuning, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery and test-driven development.
- Experience building AI-powered solutions involving LLMs, agents, and automation.
- Ability to influence others and operate effectively in global and complex matrix environments.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including very strong English communication skills.
