Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver software features for airline ticket issuance, voids, refunds, exchanges, and ancillary documents.
- Build and enhance AWS cloud-native services and data pipelines for transaction processing and industry settlement reporting.
- Modernize legacy systems into cloud-native architectures while preserving accuracy, reliability, and feature parity through rigorous testing.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues end-to-end and lead evidence-based root-cause analysis.
- Use and validate AI-assisted development tools for code generation, investigation, solution design, code reviews, and test creation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience for the mid-level track or 6 years for the senior-level track.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native solutions, including Lambda, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and serverless or event-driven architectures.
- Practical experience with AI and LLM-based development tools and effective use of AI coding assistants.
- Strong C#/.NET experience developing and maintaining production-grade services and APIs.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with unit, integration, and regression testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of secure coding and handling sensitive payment-card and personal information.
- Working knowledge of C++ and/or Node.js/TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience in airline, travel, payments, or financial transaction domains is preferred.
- Familiarity with IATA BSP, ARC, ATPCO, IATA NDC, XML/XSD integrations, SOAP or REST APIs, cloud migration, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work US shift hours.
