Base Salary

$120k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and own the enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and hybrid environments.
Develop cloud architecture documentation including solution design documents and network diagrams.
Define and enforce cloud security architecture standards including Zero Trust Architecture.
Lead cloud migration planning and execution, assessing on-premise workloads and defining strategies.
Architect secure, high-availability cloud network topologies.
Collaborate with ISSM/ISSO teams to maintain Cloud Security Plans and continuous monitoring strategies.
Establish infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform or equivalent tools.
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations.
Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud architecture on assigned programs.
Mentor and guide cloud engineers and junior architects.
Travel up to 10% CONUS to support program sites and architecture reviews.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 4 years in DoD or federal programs.
Experience architecting production workloads on AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling and CI/CD pipeline security.
Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and cloud security requirements.
Experience supporting NIST RMF authorization activities for cloud-hosted systems.
Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
