Responsibilities

  • Shape the design and implementation of Replicant’s platform engineering domains.
  • Build systems that reduce toil and keep production infrastructure available and operable under large-scale, real-time conversational AI traffic.
  • Extend the agent harness with CI, sandboxes, guardrails, validation, and agent-first evaluation loops.
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling, including build and test performance, deployment ergonomics, and paved paths for new services.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident management while owning base infrastructure rather than applications.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development enablement roles.
  • End-to-end ownership experience with CI/CD platforms, including caching, architecture, and developer self-service.
  • Experience using Claude and Cursor for coding, troubleshooting, and reasoning, with sound judgment about where not to use AI tools.
  • Familiarity with Node/TypeScript, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Practical experience with logs, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting, incident management processes, and related tooling.
  • Experience working effectively in fully remote teams.
  • Bonus experience with harness engineering, autonomous-agent platforms, production-scale GCP, and telephony or SIP architectures, particularly FreeSWITCH.

Benefits

  • Fully remote work with company-wide offsites and smaller team gatherings.
  • Conference, book, and course learning stipend.
  • Flexible vacation, comprehensive benefits, physical and mental wellness stipend, and a paid sabbatical after five years.
  • Equity and competitive salaries.
  • Participation in a rare non-business-hours on-call rotation is part of the role.
