Responsibilities
- Shape the design and implementation of Replicant’s platform engineering domains.
- Build systems that reduce toil and keep production infrastructure available and operable under large-scale, real-time conversational AI traffic.
- Extend the agent harness with CI, sandboxes, guardrails, validation, and agent-first evaluation loops.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling, including build and test performance, deployment ergonomics, and paved paths for new services.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident management while owning base infrastructure rather than applications.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development enablement roles.
- End-to-end ownership experience with CI/CD platforms, including caching, architecture, and developer self-service.
- Experience using Claude and Cursor for coding, troubleshooting, and reasoning, with sound judgment about where not to use AI tools.
- Familiarity with Node/TypeScript, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Practical experience with logs, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting, incident management processes, and related tooling.
- Experience working effectively in fully remote teams.
- Bonus experience with harness engineering, autonomous-agent platforms, production-scale GCP, and telephony or SIP architectures, particularly FreeSWITCH.
