Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Architect highly available, resilient, performant, multi-tenant cloud systems with disaster recovery capabilities.
- Manage Amazon EKS and Kubernetes container orchestration for application deployment and scaling.
- Govern multi-account AWS environments with AWS Control Tower, including provisioning, compliance, and security policies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
- Lead network security initiatives involving firewall configuration, IDS/IPS, and IAM policy enforcement.
- Own SOC 2 compliance and related regulatory audits and documentation.
- Mentor and lead a diverse, distributed DevOps team and foster continuous improvement.
- Coordinate priorities and delivery across development, security, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on production experience with Terraform.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Control Tower.
- Proven experience designing and operating multi-tenant cloud architectures.
- Strong Kubernetes and Amazon EKS container-orchestration experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- In-depth understanding of network security, IDS/IPS systems, and IAM best practices.
- Experience owning SOC 2 compliance or similar security frameworks, including audits.
- Experience leading or managing remote and global teams, with strong communication and team-building skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
