Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications for a business-critical digital content production and delivery platform.
- Build scalable full stack solutions using .NET Core, React, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product stakeholders, and engineers to define and deliver features.
- Improve existing codebases, platforms, and technologies while designing and implementing new capabilities.
- Promote maintainable architecture and software delivery practices, including testing, automation, and continuous delivery.
- Mentor junior team members, share technical knowledge, and support sprint delivery.
- Work across cross-functional teams to deliver operationally valuable software solutions.
Requirements
- Expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, Cosmos DB, SQL, Azure Service Bus, AKS, React, and Node.js is preferred.
- Experience with application lifecycle management, quality assurance, database engineering, build, and deployment.
- Understanding of layered architecture and business-domain modeling.
- Knowledge of software delivery practices including integration testing, performance testing, build automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Experience with cloud-based development and delivery platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of JavaScript and associated user interface frameworks and web technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, product focus, and willingness to mentor and promote technical ideas.
- Candidates must currently reside in the UK and be available to start within four weeks of receiving an offer.
