Base Salary
$77k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test environments and automated test suites.
- Develop Python test cases and maintain understanding of product functionality.
- Assess the quality of existing, new, and planned features.
- Contribute to test automation frameworks and test tooling projects.
- Automate test environment deployment, test pipelines, and test-result reporting.
- Identify and document bugs clearly and accurately.
- Provide timely testing status updates and collaborate with internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Python, Linux or UNIX systems, and Git or other source control technologies.
- Interest in testing and investigating how systems work internally.
- Ability to coordinate with others and help solve difficult problems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work on a fast-paced project.
- Preferred experience with Docker or Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCE.
- Preferred experience with configuration management tools such as Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Chef, or Puppet.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis and creating test pipelines.
- Experience using or participating in open source projects is a plus.
