Base Salary
$77k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test environments and automated test suites.
- Develop test cases in Python and understand the functionality of Red Hat offerings.
- Assess the quality of existing, newly developed, and planned features.
- Contribute to test automation frameworks and tooling for deploying environments, automating pipelines, and reporting test results.
- Identify, investigate, and document bugs clearly and accurately.
- Coordinate with internal teams, help solve difficult problems, and provide timely testing status updates.
Requirements
- Experience with Python, Linux or UNIX systems, and Git or other source control technologies.
- Interest in testing and investigating how systems work internally.
- Ability to coordinate with others, solve difficult problems, communicate effectively in English, and work on a fast-paced project.
- Preferred experience with Docker or Kubernetes and AWS, Azure, or GCE.
- Preferred experience with configuration management tools such as Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Chef, or Puppet.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis and creating test pipelines.
- Experience using or participating in open source projects is a plus.
