Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations between Workday and enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, PECI, and WECI.
- Design scalable, secure, reusable, and maintainable integration patterns and contribute to Workday integration architecture.
- Perform integration analysis, data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and technical design reviews.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, reconciliation, automated recovery, intelligent error handling, and observability.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Apply software engineering practices including version control, peer review, automated testing, CI/CD, and structured release management.
- Ensure integrations meet enterprise security, privacy, data governance, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data-integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with product, HR technology, architecture, security, engineering, business, and vendor teams in an Agile Product Engineering environment.
- Own solutions across discovery, design, development, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations in complex and large global enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Workday Studio and Workday integration technologies, including PECI and WECI.
- Experience with Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven integration, and data transformation.
- Experience with an enterprise integration platform such as Boomi.
- Knowledge of Workday Extend or broader Workday platform capabilities.
- Preferred experience troubleshooting complex integration and production issues and applying security, data privacy, and data integrity principles.
- Preferred experience working with Agile and DevOps delivery models, cloud platforms such as GCP or Microsoft Azure, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, automated operational tooling, ServiceNow, Power BI, and legacy integration modernization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
