Base Salary
$100k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end power optimization across architecture, hardware, firmware, kernel, Android, and system software teams.
- Define, prototype, evaluate, validate, and productize power features using pre-silicon platforms and post-silicon bring-up.
- Own post-silicon power KPI execution for battery life, gaming, and multimedia use cases, including root-cause debugging, power walks, correlation, and optimization.
- Use rapid prototyping, experiments, and trace-driven studies to evaluate scheduler, DVFS, low-power mode, and system design trade-offs.
- Tune or develop firmware, Linux kernel, and system algorithms for scheduling, low-power modes, bus/DDR scaling, and SoC power-state transitions.
- Scale power debug, analysis, telemetry, automation, and AI-assisted infrastructure across platforms and geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in computer architecture and system design, including memory management and hierarchies, CPU/GPU architectures, and operating-system fundamentals.
- Proven embedded software development expertise and the ability to design and implement moderately complex systems software.
- Hands-on experience with firmware and Linux kernel development is required.
- Understanding of electrical engineering and digital logic fundamentals is required; familiarity with low-power design and power-saving techniques is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and collaborate in cross-functional, multidisciplinary environments.
