Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered features, AI assistants, and intelligent automation for infrastructure security workflows.
- Build capabilities for vulnerability summarization, log triage, remediation recommendations, security policy reviews, configuration assessments, and natural-language security-data queries.
- Develop React frontends and Python- and Java-based backend services and APIs.
- Integrate commercial and open-source LLMs, orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, vector stores, structured outputs, function calling, and tool integrations.
- Create evaluation frameworks, golden datasets, regression tests, and monitoring for accuracy, hallucinations, latency, response quality, and cost.
- Implement responsible-AI and security controls including prompt-injection protection, PII redaction, output filtering, rate limiting, audit logging, and access management.
- Integrate AI services with vulnerability scanners, ticketing platforms, SIEM solutions, monitoring tools, and other security infrastructure.
- Automate data preparation, embedding refreshes, evaluation runs, health checks, and monitoring using Python and Shell scripting.
- Test, debug, optimize, document, and operationalize AI applications while collaborating with security, infrastructure, engineering, DevOps, and data teams.
Requirements
- At least 5.5 years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or applied AI, including 1–2 years building production-grade LLM applications.
- Expert-level React.js proficiency and strong hands-on Python experience for AI development, automation, backend services, and API integration.
- Working knowledge of Java, REST API development, enterprise application integration, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with LLM providers, prompt engineering, system prompts, structured outputs, JSON schemas, function calling, tool integration, AI assistants, and agentic workflows.
- Experience with an LLM orchestration framework, RAG pipelines, embeddings, document chunking, retrieval tuning, grounding, and vector database integration.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, regression testing, observability, performance optimization, cost management, debugging, and application testing.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, asynchronous programming, Python packaging, and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Shell scripting, Linux, Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and at least one cloud platform.
- Understanding of infrastructure security, cloud security controls, SIEM queries, CSPM, Infrastructure as Code, data privacy, vulnerability management, and responsible-AI security practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk and KQL or SPL, plus concepts including CVE, CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV, IAM, WAF, NSGs, and conditional access.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, Associate of ISC², CEH, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), CCSP, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning agility, and ownership skills.
