Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end cloud, hybrid, and on-premise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable integration flows with routing, splitting, gathering, mapping, transformation, persistence, and resilience patterns.
- Use Groovy scripting for complex transformations, enrichment, validation, conditional execution, performance tuning, and maintainability improvements.
- Design secure APIs with authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, lifecycle management, and observability.
- Integrate third-party applications through connectors and implement event-driven messaging patterns.
- Build integration agents and retrieval-grounded AI capabilities for iFlow generation, mapping recommendations, anomaly detection, prediction, troubleshooting, and remediation.
- Create automated integration tests, payload regression suites, replay testing, API verification, AI evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and release gates.
- Establish dashboards, alerts, correlation tracking, structured logging, message tracing, and operational observability.
- Apply integration strategy, governance, advisory, assessment, and maturity enablement practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Strong experience with message mappings, routing patterns, enterprise data formats, and integration flow development.
- Practical scripting ability, such as Groovy, for advanced integration customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
- Ability to build tool-augmented, retrieval-grounded, measurable, and safely bounded AI-native integration capabilities.
- Experience with automated integration testing, evaluation loops, event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, and connector-based integrations is beneficial.
- Migration from legacy integration platforms, integration governance, and enterprise-wide standardization experience are beneficial.
- Training or fine-tuning foundation models from scratch is not the focus of the role.
