Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using .NET and C#, plus frontend functionality using Vue.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Own technical delivery of significant project components from design through development, testing, and release.
- Break down complex work for a small development team and identify technical blockers early.
- Design and optimize relational databases, APIs, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
- Apply domain-driven design and microservices principles to product development.
- Lead code reviews and uphold standards for software quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude in daily development work.
- Contribute to AI-powered product functionality and evaluate models or approaches based on performance, cost, reliability, and fit.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and developers while mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend experience.
- Require strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#, including recent modern .NET experience.
- Require experience with Vue.js and TypeScript; Angular or another modern JavaScript framework is also relevant.
- Require practical experience with domain-driven design, microservices architecture, relational databases, and REST APIs.
- Require comfort working across the full stack and regular use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Require strong communication, ownership, and teamwork skills.
- Prefer experience building AI-powered product functionality, including work with models or AI pipelines.
- Prefer experience with message brokers, asynchronous systems, or high-traffic distributed applications.
- Prefer experience developing secure software for healthcare, manufacturing, or similarly security-sensitive environments.
