Base Salary

$120k - $179k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deliver performant, reliable, and intuitive customer-facing web and mobile experiences.
  • Lead frontend systems implementation and evolution, including component design, state management, and UI architecture.
  • Write clean code, participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and own quality through testing and production readiness.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and UX to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Improve frontend systems and make trade-offs among delivery speed, quality, and maintainability.
  • Mentor other engineers through example, feedback, and technical discussion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend or customer-facing web development.
  • Strong proficiency in modern frontend languages, ideally TypeScript, React, and JavaScript, plus data structures, algorithms, and problem decomposition.
  • Experience building and maintaining production UI systems, including performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • 3+ years contributing to frontend architecture and design for maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
  • 3+ years working across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build tooling, testing, and operational support.
  • Familiarity with cloud-backed environments, API integration, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS and/or Azure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clarify requirements, state assumptions, identify constraints, and explain technical decisions.
