Base Salary
$116k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, create, and execute manual and automated tests for customer user journeys.
- Develop and execute robust automation scripts using tools like Cypress and Selenium.
- Build and maintain automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Combine coding skills with exploratory testing to identify edge cases.
- Utilize observability tools to analyze test results and optimize configurations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Architecture teams to drive testing practices.
- Apply the scientific method to break down complex configurations and track issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Critical mindset to discern what to automate and propose improvements.
