Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, validate, and maintain rule-based ENABLE automations for network-node interventions and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with operations teams and subject-matter experts to identify and scope repeatable automation opportunities.
- Translate requirements into automation logic, rules, workflow steps, and acceptance criteria.
- Test automation changes, investigate failures and exceptions, troubleshoot issues, and support safe deployment.
- Monitor automation outcomes and execution trends to identify defects, outliers, and reliability improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable automation assets.
- Collaborate with network engineers, solution designers, and delivery teams to fit automations into the operational environment.
- Follow applicable security, quality, compliance, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in automation engineering, network operations, or a closely related technical role.
- Experience developing, configuring, supporting, or troubleshooting automation workflows, rules, scripts, or operational tools.
- Ability to analyze processes, clarify requirements, break problems into implementable steps, and validate results.
- Practical troubleshooting skills involving execution results, logs, and error messages.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on Ericsson ENABLE experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with network operations or management workflows, including event, incident, problem, or service operations.
- Working knowledge of scripting or programming such as JavaScript or Python, Linux/Unix command-line environments, and structured data such as JSON or SQL.
- Experience with automation testing, runbooks, operational monitoring, or continuous improvement of production workflows.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams and operational stakeholders.
