Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support infrastructure and services for large-scale production workloads.
- Troubleshoot network, server, operating system, application, database, storage, and identity/access management issues.
- Deploy and manage AWS environments and contribute to Azure and Google Cloud multi-cloud strategies.
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and Chef.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Implement and manage monitoring and observability platforms including Datadog, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
- Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Participate in incident response and postmortem processes.
- Communicate technical information through documentation, chat, and verbal updates while collaborating across teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Expert-level experience with AWS and Linux server environments.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Chef, Perl, Python, Go, and JavaScript.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitLab code repositories.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure or Google Cloud exposure, service mesh, Kubernetes, serverless architecture, ITIL or SRE certifications, and advanced cloud architecture or DevOps training.
