Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support infrastructure and services for large-scale production workloads.
Troubleshoot network, server, operating system, application, database, storage, and identity/access management issues.
Deploy and manage AWS environments and contribute to Azure and Google Cloud multi-cloud strategies.
Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and Chef.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
Implement and manage monitoring and observability platforms including Datadog, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
Participate in incident response and postmortem processes.
Communicate technical information through documentation, chat, and verbal updates while collaborating across teams.

At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles.
Expert-level experience with AWS and Linux server environments.
Proficiency with Terraform, Chef, Perl, Python, Go, and JavaScript.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitLab code repositories.
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred qualifications include Azure or Google Cloud exposure, service mesh, Kubernetes, serverless architecture, ITIL or SRE certifications, and advanced cloud architecture or DevOps training.
