Responsibilities
- Turn agreed product scope into working products and testable releases.
- Build and maintain mobile experiences and contribute across platforms and technologies as needed.
- Use data, user insights, and hypotheses to guide implementation and validate outcomes with product and design colleagues.
- Apply and improve advanced AI-native workflows across development, testing, and validation.
- Integrate AI capabilities into products where they add value.
- Improve accessibility, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to deployment, maintenance, and operation while taking responsibility for delivered software.
- Share knowledge, review work, and help develop the team’s engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong native mobile engineering experience in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android, including production delivery and maintenance, APIs, automated testing, debugging, and release processes.
- Hands-on capability in at least one additional area, such as a second mobile platform, frontend, or backend development.
- Experience using AI across substantial parts of product delivery beyond individual coding suggestions.
- Experience with advanced AI-native workflows such as agent-based or spec-driven development, including structuring work for AI, providing context, evaluating results, and taking responsibility for production software.
- Experience working in a product organization and cross-functional product team with product managers and designers.
- Ability to use data and user insights to test hypotheses, validate value, and share responsibility for post-release outcomes.
- Experience developing for both iOS and Android is a bonus.
- Strong frontend or backend engineering skills are a bonus.
- Experience with accessibility, mobile performance, media, or streaming products is a bonus.
- Curiosity, ownership, willingness to challenge existing practices, and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing are valued.
