Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain user-facing tooling for the Lakehouse platform.
  • Own the UX design process end to end, including prototyping and design-system work.
  • Work with users to understand workflows and develop solutions suited to how they work.
  • Partner with stakeholders on design decisions and incorporate feedback.
  • Write frontend software using JavaScript and React.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and React and a good understanding of web standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Figma, including prototyping and working with design systems.
  • Strong grounding in design thinking and human-centered design.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, ownership, independent-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred: object-oriented design and programming skills in Java or a comparable language.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their data services.
  • Preferred: knowledge of data warehousing and lakehouse solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Apache Iceberg.
