Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing tooling for the Lakehouse platform.
- Own the end-to-end design process, including prototyping and design-system work.
- Work with users to understand workflows and shape effective solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders on design decisions and incorporate feedback.
- Present design work, facilitate meetings, and collaborate with subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong JavaScript and React experience with a good understanding of web standards and best practices.
- Strong grounding in design thinking and human-centered design.
- Proficiency with Figma, including prototyping and design systems.
- Excellent communication, ownership, independent thinking, and attention to detail.
- Preferred: object-oriented design and programming skills in Java or a comparable language.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their data services.
- Preferred: knowledge of data warehousing and lakehouse solutions, including Snowflake, BigQuery, or Apache Iceberg.
