Responsibilities
- Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying and advancing key opportunities across the company.
- Lead significant technology initiatives end to end, including horizontal architecture layers.
- Design and implement durable, robust, scalable, secure, highly available, and performant software solutions.
- Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end solutions for customer problems.
- Build AI-native applications and guide the applicability, evaluation, and limitations of AI technologies.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, Operations, and other internal and external groups on design, development, integration, testing, and release.
- Contribute to engineering standards, patterns, best practices, industry trend recommendations, technology prototypes, patent proposals, and process improvements.
- Mentor others and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
- 7+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
- Full-stack development experience using AI technologies and tools in user experiences or backend solutions.
- Experience with AI technologies such as SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, SwiftUI, or Kotlin, or back-end technologies such as Java, Typescript, Spring, or Express (NodeJS).
- Prior experience in a cloud computing environment such as AWS or GCP is highly desired.
- At least one year of experience working on teams that built AI-native applications.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, collaboration, decision-making, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
- Experience working effectively with global teams across time zones.
