Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable end-to-end applications across frontend, backend, integration, and AI layers.
- Build and enhance core banking and client onboarding platforms, including APIs, backend services, user-facing applications, and orchestration layers.
- Develop robust microservices and APIs using Java, Node.js, or Python and frontend applications using React or Angular.
- Deliver LLM-enabled capabilities including document processing, intelligent onboarding, search, summarization, decision support, prompt design, structured outputs, tool calling, and error handling.
- Implement and optimize RAG pipelines involving chunking, embeddings, vector search, and grounding responses in source documents.
- Establish validation and evaluation practices for AI output quality and regression detection.
- Apply safety and security controls including input validation, PII handling, prompt-injection mitigation, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Contribute to API-first, cloud adoption, event-driven architecture, quality, CI/CD, observability, and modernization initiatives.
- Own features from design through production support and collaborate with product, architecture, business, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Balance AI capability, production readiness, cost, latency, compliance, and business value.
Requirements
- Requires 7–10+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Node.js, or Python and one of React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of system design, API development, scalability, and production-grade end-to-end application delivery.
- Hands-on experience building applications with large language models and explaining related design decisions, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Practical understanding of prompt engineering, AI output evaluation, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval quality.
- Ability to work across technology stacks, learn new technologies, take ownership, solve complex problems, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in banking or financial services, regulated or complex domains, onboarding, payments, lending, trade, or KYC/AML is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes production LLM features, agentic AI, LangChain or LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, Copilot Studio, AI security, OWASP LLM Top 10, model evaluation frameworks, LLM observability, search, analytics, cloud modernization, streaming architectures, and AI development tools.
- Familiarity with prompt injection, data leakage, output validation, human-in-the-loop controls, and responsible AI practices is preferred.
