Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive front-end and back-end applications, APIs, integrations, and reusable components.
- Build web applications using Python, React, FastAPI, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Develop and configure Salesforce solutions using Salesforce Lightning Platform, Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Lightning Web Components, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud Communities.
- Integrate applications with databases, enterprise data platforms, cloud services, and internal or external APIs.
- Perform unit, integration, API, UI, accessibility, security, and data-validation testing.
- Create prototypes and convert approved concepts into production-ready code.
- Use source control, code reviews, CI/CD, containers, feature flags, monitoring, rollback, and incident-management practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production applications across frontend, API, database, data-integration, cloud, and AI-enabled components.
- Create technical documentation, designs, API documentation, deployment procedures, configuration instructions, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, UX/design teams, data engineers, QA engineers, architects, and other technology teams.
- Participate in Agile practices, sprint planning, effort estimation, status reporting, and continuous engineering improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Approximately 5 to 9 years of relevant software development or software engineering experience.
- Experience delivering enterprise software or data solutions as a developer or software engineer.
- Ownership of at least one production frontend, backend, API, data-integration, automation, or full-stack component.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern front-end framework, preferably React.
- Hands-on experience developing backend services and APIs with Python/FastAPI, Node.js, or comparable server-side technologies.
- Hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions using declarative capabilities such as Flow and custom technologies such as Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, SQL, API integrations, application security, authentication, authorization, and access controls.
- Experience with modern application architecture patterns, including serverless and microservices architectures.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies and creating clear technical documentation.
- Ability to independently deliver moderately complex assignments, learn unfamiliar technologies, evaluate technical approaches, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environments; AWS; Docker; Kubernetes; DevOps; automated testing; CI/CD; GitLab; Databricks; OAuth 2.0; OIDC; SAML; AI-enabled applications; observability; and production support.
- Preferred certifications include SAFe for Teams or equivalent, Salesforce Platform Developer, Copado Source Format Pipeline, and relevant cloud, software development, data engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, Agile, or enterprise platform certifications.
