Responsibilities
- Review Salesforce manual test cases, user stories, and functional requirements for automation suitability and complete test coverage.
- Maintain and enhance automated testing activities across iterative development, system testing, and regression testing for multiple Salesforce releases.
- Execute manual test cases and scripts using test management and tracking tools.
- Create and maintain QA test plans, cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data management strategies.
- Establish, configure, and maintain Salesforce Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs for testing.
- Support QA processes, tools, Salesforce deployment activities, and supporting CI/CD technologies.
- Design, create, and execute Playwright automation scripts for Salesforce Lightning interfaces, including dynamic IDs and Shadow DOM components.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software testing experience, including significant experience testing Salesforce applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- At least 2 years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright, including experience addressing Salesforce automation challenges.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, and Salesforce security model knowledge, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
- Experience using Postman for Salesforce REST and Bulk API testing.
- Experience with X-ray or similar test management tools integrated with Jira.
- Experience with Salesforce deployment processes and tools such as Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or standard CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git; familiarity with SOQL and basic Apex knowledge.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder are a strong asset.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is an asset.
