Responsibilities
- Lead complex or critical database management initiatives involving database architecture, design, integration, and data modeling.
- Plan, research, design, implement, maintain, and control server-class databases.
- Evaluate, design, and certify next-generation database technologies.
- Assist with database installations, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Recommend improvements to web application processing and design.
- Consult with client groups and influence enterprise database architecture and management strategies.
- Provide technical leadership on the future direction of database technology.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of database engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of Azure Cloud experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience effectively handling major incidents.
- Experience with complex or critical MS SQL Server database management initiatives is desired.
