Senior Angular Engineer – AI-First Frontend Development

Responsibilities
- Define and drive AI-first frontend development strategy using Angular and AI-assisted development tools.
- Architect and deliver scalable, performant, maintainable Angular applications across platforms and devices.
- Establish standards for Angular architecture, component design, state management, performance, accessibility, and AI-assisted development.
- Partner with design, product, business, backend, API, and platform teams to deliver intuitive and integrated user-facing applications.
- Simplify complex UI workflows and improve code quality, testing coverage, code reviews, and developer productivity with AI tools.
- Provide hands-on technical direction through design reviews, code reviews, mentorship, and engineering leadership.
- Own frontend delivery from strategy through production and evaluate emerging frontend frameworks, AI tools, and development patterns.
Requirements
- 9–12 years of strong hands-on experience building enterprise-grade Angular applications.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, Angular CLI, and modern build tools.
- Experience with Angular component architecture, RxJS, NgRx or similar state management, routing, forms, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, or agent-based coding tools.
- Basic working understanding of LLMs and integrating chat, suggestions, summarization, or RAG-based capabilities into applications through APIs.
- Strong UI/UX engineering skills covering usability, accessibility, responsive design, WCAG, and design-system implementation.
- Experience with REST, WebSockets, event-driven APIs, microservices, and AI/LLM-backed services.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version-control workflows, ESLint, Prettier, SonarQube, and automation.
- Awareness of frontend security, including XSS, CSRF, authentication flows, privacy, and responsible AI.
- Experience building shared component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI patterns.
- Ability to set technical direction, influence across teams, communicate complex concepts, manage stakeholders, mentor engineers, and own outcomes.
